Rumours

I'm a little confused about how much the club are talking up the problem about rumours. As has been mentioned a couple of times there must be an element of smokescreen to the club's fury because the only rumours I can think of are:

Two players are gay
One ex-player knocked boots with a current player's wife.

Which is all clearly all schoolboy bollocks of the highest order and shouldn't be being published on websites...but....and I don't want any detailed descriptions or discussion....are there some rumours I have missed out on?
