just back from the game!

thought we looked quite ok....

pros:

bunn looks solid, commanding his box, wining every ball in the air with good punches or takes.... needs to improve kicking, distribution but looking like the solid replacment to ruddy.

wes, my motm, could tell he had the confidence and belief he had the better of any player around him. Easily looked a class above every player on the pitch.

tettey - quality, enough said

bassong - quality, enough said

cons:

whittaker - looks like a por champ player at this level. I reckon Martin R would play better. Whittakers distribution poor, gets turned easily, seems caught in two minds half the time. Our weakest link.

pilks - had an off day, 1st half crosses especially woeful.

lego - no confidence, and poor when he came on.

overall it was clear neither team wanted to get beaten. with 10 mins to go norwich got a throw in half way inside the saints half, the saints player kicked the ball away to prevent a quick throw in and the norwich player was quite happy not to rush to get it. Botht eams would have been happy with the final whistle on the 80th minute. Under Lambert we would have prob chucked on Jacko as well as Moro and gone 3 up front!

Hoots clearly got the defence sorted, playing well as a unit, bassong leading the way....

Although no way near as fun to watch as last seaosn, but much better disciplined, focussed to get a result. I for one quite happy with our progress and think Hoots is on the right track.....

Made it to the joshua tree, few other norwich fans in there, any wrathers make it there?

good turnout from our lot.....as usual, souless new grounds (saints, reading, derby, bolton etc) - por atmosphere.
