Almost as boring as Hoots-slayers wanting him to do practically everything differently, with absolutely no guarantee it would make us any better off than we are right now.

This season's objective is premiership safety (imo)

So far, he is on track to achieve that.

Job done.

Next year we can re-group and try to improve on this year with all the extra wonga

and then the season after that
etc etc

If this means we defer the entertaining Man Utd/City style thrashings over all the over opponents in this league until then, well, I actually think I might be ok with that
