I think the gap has closed because of teams getting more money having been in the Prem...

...as in better players, coaches, facilities etc...

And at the mo the top teams are not improving in the way they were before and the top players are going to Spain so there's more competition...

It still ain't as exciting as the Champs but it's more competitive definitely...

With regards to three coming down until last season at least one, if not two went down most seasons end...
