Halfway home from the game...

Stayed in Brum on way back last night and feeling as rough as a badger's rough bits this morning but my thoughts on yestdee ...

It felt like a League 1 away day, not coz of the footy, but coz of the fans - singing all the way even if that meant long periods of "Y'army - Y'army". Great atmosphere, the best for ages. It seems to me that Hoots has rekindled the confidence that we had for the first couple of the Lambert years. Unbeaten in six EPL games - whoddathunkit.

MoM - Tettey. What a signing!
Escape goat of the day - Snoddy. Took a load of abuse from the normals
Best player on the pitch - Baines (won't be at Everton for much longer)
Inevitable bit of the game: Bertie's ghoul - just knew we would score.
