you'll be fine on the roads. Lovely biking in a bit of rain, as long as it's not tooooo heavy.

I saw a race up in the mountains here when there was unseasonal lightish rain and the competitors were having to cycle* through 6 inches of mud. That was quite funny, though not for them judging by their mud-caked and knacked-looking faces.
