pick a paper with a pattern that repeats frequently
it may look complicated but less waste
make sure the first piece you hang on each wall is straight ceiling to floor then the rest will be straight as well
work from the light source in the room away any overlaps in corners will not show as much
make sure you get plenty of paste right to the edges of the paper
tear the paper rayher than cut it when going round something rather than cut it with sissors tear will be hidden easier except when trimming top and bottom
I love hanging wall paper I do
make sure the walls are free of cracks and good condition wall paper wont hide them you will still see them
Paint the wall with a cheap silk emulsion it will seal the wall from dust and allow you to slide the paper into position and make it easier to strip in later years
