I genuinely don't get all the "Bayern" answers below

Because although it was a brilliant achievement in itself, it led nowhere and achieved nothing

Surely to be a "greatest ever win" it had to be a bit more significant than that, doesn't it? A promotion win, or a relegation avoidance, or a win in a cup run when we actually won the cup?

Applying those criteria I think I'd go for the scum semi final win
