similar story here Mr T.....

had been offshore plymouth all day, got back to the hotel around 6ish...after shower etc couldnt get a signal in the room for the radio/internet on my phone.... ventured into the bar, still frantically trying to see if I now had any better signal, the barman commented that the signal was poor around Mountbatten and I just shruged and said, oh well, the footy score I'm after will have to wait - he asked which one, I said I'd found all the 3 o clock kick offs and was only intetrested in the man utd score - - - he grimmised, and said "its bad news mate, WE'RE losing 1-0!!" - thought I was a man utd fan cause I asked for their score! Got texts through at the final whistle, went to the bar smiling and ordered some guiness and bears and put him right!
