The slight unease i have with some of these arrests
Is how on earth can the accusations be proved in most of these cases. I'm not saying the accusations should not be investigated as the alleged victims are entitled to that but I can't help feeling that most of these cases cannot be proved and will not end up in prosecution.
The reports circulating about the DLT case seem to imply that the accusations are that he groped a couple of women in recording studios when nobody else was present. If that is indeed what he is charged with then how on earth can it be proven or disproved 20 years later. Yet the bloke will now be tarred with the Saville brush having been arrested. Obviously if he did it then maybe he deserves to have his rep battered like this but I feel a bit uneasy about the fact that a fair few people are bring outed in the media for alleged offences 20 years ago that appear to be one persons word against another.
