the key thing about it, IMHO, is that overseas income is split equally amongst all teams. and the overseas money is going up faster than the domestic money. and the total pot is going up much much faster than the rest of europe's. So IF we stay up, premiership clubs like ours will have a lot more money than european clubs to pay players, and the smaller clubs will be at a lot less of a disadvantage compared to the bigger ones (for the first time in ages). Throw in a bit of financial fair play, and i reckon the next 3 years will make things a lot more interesting than they used to be......
