for me the problem is that...
..........just under 100 years after the 1st World War began = the ceremonies only remember the dead of one side. Until the the germans (et al) are invited to lay a wreath here (and the british are invited to lay a wreath in berlin) then for me the ceremonies are still to closely "tied" to the outcome of the 1st World War.
At 11 today I stopped and remembered ALL the dead but I don't wear a poppy for the above reasons.
Well that should start a fierce debate!
