that the most frustrating thing about Hoots was his substitutions on 80 to 85 mins when there was no chance of the changes making a difference. Guess we have been fortunate that the one who shall not be named made changes on 70 mins to give the subs 20 mins to change the game. Also, Hoots and his backroom staff were two fullbacks and a centre half so their mindset is presumably of a defensive nature.
Having said that the one who shall not be named assistant and main tactician was a fullback.
