The best you can hope for is to stay in the Premier. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the payment in the Prem next season 62 million while the Championship is roughly 4 million. Competition doesn't truly exist so the days of a team like Notts Forest having two promotions and then winning the top league are way gone. It is a real shame because sport is obviously all about competition but there's very little opportunity to compete.
