So let me get this straight.....

We have bought two right backs in the summer but now have a centre back playing ahead of them in that position.

We have a defender playing in the centre of the park because despite all our midfield "options" it consists of 1) someone who is either injured or unavailable because he is playing for his country, 2) someone who shouts a lot but does little else, 3) and 4) other assorted players who have barely played for the club over a couple of years but have now suddenly come back into contention and 5) another young star waiting to be born who has suddenly got injured and headed back home. 6) Oh and then there's that bloke from Wigan who we bought but never played.

Attacking wise, we have two of the deadliest players in this division up front but who can't seem to hit a cow's arse with a cricket bat right now, one of them we can't seem to decide whether we play him on the left, on the right or as a striker. In fact in some games, he's been played in all three. Then, there's some bloke called Leon who seems to have fallen off the face of the earth and a striker we signed from Cardiff who was played in right midfield when he came on at the weekend while Henderson was finally played up front after being put in exactly that same right midfield position for the last three years when has has had a look in.

Then we're one nil down with a few minutes left we put Colin on for Fleming.

Its clearly not just the fans that have no idea what's going on, neither do the players, they're all out of position and don't seem to know where to go or what to do.

Three players at the most apart, virtually our whole team is based upon fielding players who weren't picked at all last season or else playing them somewhere they're not used to.

So, does everyone still reckon we have the best squad in this league?

Not me.

And I never even mentioned the diamond.
