they're only 4/5 points from safety with about 36 games to go (nearly a whole Premier League season). We were in a much worse position when Roeder took over and he still had time to get us to the fringes of the playoff positions and back down into relegation trouble before the season ended.
They are nowhere near being doomed, as some are suggesting, and with the squad they have a new manager should be able to keep them up.
Gunn took us over when we were in a much worse position and yet virtually no-one on here is suggesting he should have stayed after getting us relegated. Nor should their appointee if that happens
