Whatever people's opinions on whether Worthington should stay in his job or not are, don't you think the guy deserves a little more respect than he is getting here?

I remember when Worthington took over five seasons ago now. Many people wrote him off straight away after more experienced managers in Bruce Rioch and Bryan Hamilton failed. Despite this fact, within three seasons he got us promoted with a modest budget and less than start quality players (with the exception of Huckerby).

Don't get me wrong. I am as concerned as everyone else about our recent form, and of course people have a right to their opinion on to what extent the manager is responsible for this. However, I think more respect is due.

As you can probably tell, I think he deserves a bit more time to turn things around, but even if I didn't, I wouldn't call him a c***.
