Leeds to Kensington Olympia - Help please??

In a couple of weeks I am off to Kensington Olympia, cant get the train all the way from Leeds because it is too expensive but I dont want to drive into London.

Is there any better alternative to driving to Milton Keynes and getting the train from there?
