So what of Norwich? They have hinted at playing close to their best on occasion this season, but have lacked a goal threat when it matters. Three heavy defeats already have left them as the bookies' favourites to be relegated.

I'm not so sure that's how it will turn out. I certainly don't see them being cut adrift and would not bet against the experience of Chris Hughton and his assistant Colin Calderwood guiding them through what are likely to be a choppy last few weeks of the season.
