not just speed....

but the angle is the most important factor....

last nights test you heard the landing system warning of dropping too quickly....

a normal glide slope is between 2.5 and 3 degrees (CannDC and I used to work on the Instrument Landing System Localizer (horizontal beam) and Glide Slope (vertical beam) at RAF Honington)...

on the video you posted see the runway had been sprayed with foam to lower friction and heat....

this is the way to do it....
