What is the point of Brennan?
How badly does this guy have to play to get dropped? I thought he might improve in his favoured full back position but he got worse.
Yesterday he was supposed to be our left midfielder. Doesn't that mean running at the full back and getting in crosses? If anyone can think of a single time when Brennan did this yesterday, tell me, cos I can't.
To be fair though, some of the time Hux was over on the left in his space. Surely then he should be trying to get into the box to support Ashton or making an overlapping run to try and take a defender away from Hux or provide a passing option. But no, he just stood 10 yards behind him holding hands with Drury.
At least as a natural full back he should be able to tackle, but he can't. And this man is back up to Hux when he isn't on the left.
Oh, and I thought our squad was supposed to be as good as Sheff Utd and Reading's? Dream on Adams
