due to the financial implications of sacking Worthy. For me Burely would be the best option, he has a proven track record at this level, and has also kept the scum in the Prem, playing attractive football. I no they went down the season after, but i can't help but feel that Sheepshagger had a bigger influence on the signings of Finidi George etc then Burely would have liked.
However if Burely is a no go, or most importantly didn't have his heart in it, and wasn't 100% commited due to past ties, id have to say it would be worth eating into any future transfer budgets and using it to get Newell from Luton, who is an up and coming, young hungery manager, our squad is good enough for play-offs at least imo and the 2 managers ive mentioned above should be able to achieve that, IF THEY ARE BROUGHT IN NO LATER THEN NEXT MONDAY
