I don't think it would help, but...

If you really want to master the off side rul, this is the safest thing to remember:

If the offside flag goes up and your/his team is ATTACKING, it was never offside and the lenesman is blind

If the flag goes up and your/his team is defending, it was a great decision and it was offside by a mile!
