I hadn't realised that poor little Lambikins felt so let down over how his dream move to Aston Villa was handled. Shame on us for not sanctioning the move without even convening a board meeting and waiving any right to compensation so Paul could skip merrily on his way up the A14.

And there was me feeling let down that the manager of my football club lined himself up a new job, manufactured a scenario where he could quit and claim his contract had been terminated, and then lodged a counter claim against us to try and deny us any compensation at all.

I obviously need to take a look at myself. Poor Paul has been through hell and I can only hope he can get some justice out of all of this. JFTSC
