a few thoughts from today

Green - england keeper? don't make me laugh, had 3 attempts to deal with today , spilled 2 of them and one was the goal. I somehow don't hink that Erikson will take a keeper who is bottom of the chmapionship to germany. when will he learn the VERY SIMPLE rule that you must not kick a moving ball when takign a freekick or goal kick.

Fleming - does the manager really think that he is the best player at right back we have? easily beaten for pace inside 10 minutes , fortunatly sheffield didn't spot this weakness and exploit it.

safri- please have a go, we won't moan if a 40 yarder just misses the goal and its exciting

hughes, learn to shoot, had a fantastic chance in first half after being out through by marney and from edge of box hit row x

hucks - we know the manager should play you out left ,not as a striker, but when yoiu cut in please a deft lift over the defence will work wonders

ashton , saorry mate but you can;t take on 3 defenders and goalie and expect to score as well! also why go out wide to get the ball , you shoudl be in the box - oh i remeber why cos none of the otehr players bother to get the ball to you so you have to get it yourself.

worthington- team selection from virtually 100% fit squad 6 out of 10 , points dedcuted for picking fleming , putting hucks up front instead of on the left, picking brennan (what was his contribution today?) .

finally - does the team ever practise corenrs, freekicks and throwins - today evenm green was confused over takign a throw in. the corners ands freekicks are appalling, any moderate player should be able to get a ball into the danger area from a stationary point on the pitch
