Howson Should Be AM

If we play a 4-1-2-1-2, then Howson, Butterfield or Hoolahan can play as the "1" behind the front two.

But Howson playing deep-that makes him ordinary.

CH famously saw the DVD's from last season-saw how effective the two of them were in their best positions and has chosen to make one ineffective and play the other way out of position-when he gets the chance to play that is.

The Snodgrass signing is looking increasingly indulgent to me-where does he go? Well, again, he's probably best in that place behind the front two-a (fairly) free role. So thats four midfielders who aren't being played where they maybe ought to be.
