Boring iPhone question.

A couple of weeks ago or so my iPhone 4S started cutting out for split seconds while making calls. Apparently totally clear the other end, I hear half words my end - anybody else have a similar problem? It's very annoying, and the first glitch I've had in 4+ years of iPhone use.
