One problem for any incoming manager
They will have to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear until January, and while I would like to think people would understand that and make allowances, I can see them right on his back if things don't start well.
Our kids are just a bit too young to be slung in a la West Ham and the season just after their relegation. They need another year or two to be relied on week in and week out.
So any new manager will have to make do with what we've got...which is distinctly sub-standard in the middle.
