The slight difficulty I have with the paralympics

is that I think the reason I find the Olympics so exciting is because the competitors are the best in the world in their event, full stop, whereas one cannot say that of the paralympians - so it's like comparing a world championship with a regional championship, the latter will never grip quite like the former.
