Performance wise, that was up their with any half from last season

Spurs are lacking but a lot of that is down to our organisation, rarely did we leave a gap open at the back which is in stark contrast to last season! In the last three halfs of football we've played the only real goalscoring chance we've conceeded has been a penalty.

On the other hand, all of that good work will be a waste if we don't start to take our chances. We should be at least 1-0 up.

Ruddy looks solid without having to do much, the same with Barnett apart from when it comes to distribution. Bassong makes defending look easy. Martin has been tidy while Garrido looks very good apart from in one on one situations where he needs a few lessons from Adam Drury. Johnson looks like a man fighting for his job while Pilkington and Snodgrass have found space behind with ease. Holt needs to get in more scoring positions while the very lively Jackson needs to have more clarity in his decision making in the final third.

All very promising, although Dembele coming on will likely change everything.
