No one was protesting on that day for a larger welfare state.

Anarchists weren't campaigning for a larger welfare state - or even against the cuts in that they don't really 'campaign' as much as try to force revolution and an end to capitalism through direct action.

If any Anarchists attacked F&M it would be because they see them as a legitimate capitalist target (especially given the tax avoidance).
