Garrido & Bassong Looked Very Good

Bassong loves the one touch pass or lay off, even early on high balls were dropping to him, he didn't let them bounce or even take a touch, just laid them off via his instep-when a centre back can react that quickly it makes a difference. Garrido, like Bassong covered well, roamed a little too centrally on occasion but reads the game and has a decent tackle on him.

Johnson did what we want him to do-won the ball and generally went after it, as committed and energetic a performance as have seen from him in a while.

Snodgrass really came into the game 2nd half and was unlucky not to score.

Jackson played like a man who knows he has to impress for his place whilst Holty was Holty-and I don't know if its me, but he didn't seem to win too many headers.
