Speaking as someone who worked in the broadcasting industry for 25 years...
... I am very impressed with your first podcast effort. Actually sounded more professional than many other podcasts I've heard who actually have a bit of resource to throw at the thing.
If you'll allow a trained ear to make a few comments...
Very easy to listen to. By that, I mean how you both pitch your talking voices. Conversational, and not at all shouty... which is good.
Lighthearted. Quite obvious from the off that neither of you are taking yourselves too seriously. I liked the 4-4 conversation, shame you missed the 2 bit! May be a bit of a splendid rush in the edit?
Great that you break up the features with your own musical interludes. Just helps segment the podcast between your features, rather than it sounding like two old blokes rambling on non-stop for 20 minutes!! Really good work.
As Lee said, you've set yourself a bit of a challenge now. Never mind raising the bar, it's already quite high from your first outing. I'd really like to hear more.
Really well done.
