Why do they owe Sheff Utd anything?

I thought Sheff U lost their case against West Ham? Either way, I suppose Sheff U have done a deal where they'll get paid once West Ham have been in the PL for a certain amount of time - either that or they don't get paid at all. Shitty for other clubs that like to settle their debts; but that's modern football for you.
