Back from the game

Thought getting to St Andrews would be easy since I'm in Birmingham, was it f**k! I was lucky, just about got me and my flat mates into the away end. That included a Blues fan. Infact there were a few blues where I was sitting who weren't a problem until they scored and some of our own fans suddenly wanted them chucked out even though they did nothing to provoke. People wonder why alcohol isn't allowed and there's segregation, it was pathetic. Anyway onto the footie...

I actually missed the first goal but I thought that we were alright in the first half. The defence looked solid, if we can sign Davanport it would be a great signing and Doherty did nothing wrong all night, can't believe it was the same player. Fleming, alright, nothing special but no complaints. Midfield, tricky one, thought that Charlton was very poor and should have been subbed a lot earlier for Hendo who caused problems immediately. Other than that the midfield was good, I was disappointed that they sat off a bit and our passing could have been a little crisper but it's not dire straits. Our problem was upfront. Hucks and Deano, where's the communication? Hendo got on the end of several chest downs/flicks, Hucks didn't get one. Infact, Hucks was a lazy sod all night.

Was gutted with their winner, we had several excellent chances to win just before but it was a great goal and an entertaining game. Think we should drop Charlton, play Hendo next Sat and we should get a result.
