Well
Both Butterfield and Snodgrass were supposedly lambert targets. I suspect we already had them lined up and then Hughton had to decide if he still wanted to go ahead or not. The thing with both though is I think they are both good players but not really the type of players we need and I'm not sure we quite know how we will fit them into the team. There certainly does not appear to have been much methodical thinking about out transfer business thus far.
