there's a (low-level) campaign already underway to try and get Wiggins to ride it - basically on the logic that it could turn into a sort of ride-of-honour around Britain for him, to give cycling fans a chance to recognise his achievements.

No idea if he'll do it (in particular, he and Sky are so professional that they may judge this wouldn't be the optimal preparation for the Worlds, and so say no). Would be good if so though.

(Only bummer for me personally - the ToB isn't coming to London this year, because of all the disruption that the Olympics have already caused. Sad for me and Hawes jr - we normally go every year to see it.)
