I don't think that one-up has to be dull
I remember that one of the first times I saw a 4-2-3-1 it was when France destroyed england at wembley.

OK it was France it their pomp but it illustrates the point. I think we have a lot of attacking threat from midfield which hopefully will be sufficient if we do go with a lone striker.
I do think that the football will be less gung-ho and exhilarating than the Lambert era, and for that reason I am a little bit sad.
