looks like an early version of "Freddy Truemans Test Match Cricket Game"
gonna sound really bizarre but - to bowl you put a little metal ball in bowlers hand and pushed down on his other arm, this brought the first arm over and the ball rolled down a little moveable chute connected to the little man - the batsman had a bat on a little pivot with a piece of string connected to the bottom of the bat - you pulled the string that pulled the bat back and let it go when you wanted to try and hit the ball. The pitch was marked out with different scoring zones and the 6 ones were tiny. i'm pretty sure you could only be out bowled or caught. you were caught if you hit the ball at a fielder and it stuck in a little u shaped cup btwn his feet. hours and hours of fun.
