Being in our time zone may be an additional factor
that is, watching while we are at our most alert.
The ability for the first time to choose exactly what you want to watch and flit quickly from sport to sport also contributes.
But being a home games for the first (and probably only) time in most peoples' life is probably the biggest factor.
