That article is a bit spoilery - and so is the content of this message...

I love 'Cold Fact', having heard it about 15 years ago- I didn't know much more about Sixto Rodriguez other than he released two albums which made no money.

Anyway, at a wedding recently I met a guy who runs 'Secret Cinema', which is an organisation who put on big productions of classic films - you dress up, tit about, they have actors around and whatnot.

He said they had an event coming up that week which I absolutely had to go to - wouldn't tell me what film it was though. I went along at the film was 'Searching for Sugarman', which I loved (even though I knew Sixto was alive, which spoiled the 'twist' a bit).

So the film end, but then a curtain below the screen goes up...and there's a band there, playing the bassline from 'I Wonder'....then out pops Sixto bloody Rodriguez himself! He played for about 40 minutes...I never ever thought I would see him play live, it was amazing.

Everyone should watch that fillum, it's great.
