Trouble is...
we needed Hucks pace. The rest of our team was so pedestrian and Crouch is hardly lightening. Think Hucks's severe weaknesses (no tackling, no composure near the goal, crap movement off the ball) have handicapped us a bit since summer 2004, especially defensively, but we might well not have got promoted in the first place without him so it is a bit of a Catch 22...
