Unfortunately Liverpool had money to burn an Crouchy was there.

He went to Villa in the same circumstances, and that went tits-up.

He must have known (from his personal experience!) that he wouldn't have been used properly in a team that so obviously wouldn't build around him, he has shown he has zero adaptability for almost every team he has played under.

We adapted to suit Crouch, as did Southampton - that is what made him shine.

Bad break for him, due to all the abuse he is getting. BUT what did he expect?

I'm still a fan, though, and i still hope he proves me and others wrong.
