I am torn
A large part of me thinks they should have ended it at season 4. How many shows have we seen lose their way because they continue long beyond the sell by date, just because they are popular?
Breaking Bad had a brilliant story to tell, and I think they told it. There will always be loose ends, but I think that would've been a fitting ending.
My fear, as I've said before, is that they will now have to think of new stories, and that might feel forced. I personally think Walt and Jessie and everyone involved would have used the death of Gus as their opportunity to get out of the mess they didn't really want to get involved in in the first place, so if they now start going deeper I won't really find it believable.
The other part of me, of course, thinks it's the best show on tv by a mile and wants to keep seeing the characters. But.....less is more.
