I have a question about the Tour De France for those in the know
I just don't get it. I have little to no knowledge of it, so excuse me but how does it work?
I saw Cavendish win something yesterday, then they were all talking about some other race immedietely afterwards - two races in one day?
I heard on the news that traditionally they don't chase the guy in the yellow jersey on the final day. Not much of a race then, is it?
Is it done on your overall time over the however many stages?
How does the team business work, and do those guys still get medals? Why don't they take 2nd, 3rd, 4th place?
As you can tell, I'm ignorant. Serious answers required. Thanks.
