ok, i'll "bite"....

the memorial is for ALL bomber crews AND civilians who perished in the war.... theres no where either in the UK or Germany that remembers those lost on either side from bombing raids....

There are other RAF memorials to mark various squadrons or specific raids, but none for bomber command..... been a long time coming.

Hope lefties and the media dont try to turn this into some anti-British thing when its a memorial for ALL not just the bomber crews.
