Delia's message

While I agree with most of it I must argue with some of the points:

"Similarly we have seen what our (almost) fit squad is capable of - witness Hull at home."
What, we struggled to scrape a 2-1 win at home against a team who last year were two divisions below us?

"Nigel prefers not to make excuses and we respect that."
Does she not listen to post-match reaction?

"The injuries have cost us dearly - we cannot underestimate the seriousness of this fact."
Yes, but everyone could see we had a threadbare squad at the start of the season, we should not be reduced to playing a central defender in midfield, arguably the most important position in the team.

I say give Nigel three more games. I'm not that bothered what happens tomorrow, but if we don't take at least four points from Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff then I think it's in everyone's best interests to part company. A good manager doesn't become a bad manager overnight, but we've been looking poor for a bit longer than one night
