Agree.
Getting over last night (I was actually over it before the game ended!) was partly made easier by the fact that we were so s**te, but I think a lot of it is down to England's reasonably recent history: players unable to find club form when they wear the three lions; terrible team performances at major tournaments; general dislike of overpaid overprivileged c**ts (Terry, Cole, etc), and so on.
