In defence of Hodgson....

His hands were tied with selection which was compunded last night by the fact he had to bring on Henderson as Parker was fooked (I am sure he would have wanted to bring on someone on left as Young was totally hopeless). Having said this though, I am pretty sure that the players who started last night would have been pretty much the same as if he had been able to pick his first choice squad (obviously apart from Rudds in goal)
