8/10 for Prometheus from me.

I actually quite liked it - It is as they said, kind of a prequel to Alien. It Answers some of the questions that sci fi types ask like who the heck is the space jockey and about the ship they find. to reply to DrDublin, the Prometheus is a science vessel, hence better tech than the Nostromo which to all extents was a Big Rig and The Sulaco which was Marine transporter. And I really need to find something better to do during the close season than watch old movies!
